What’s your best travel memory ?

Getting in the colonial city of Trinidad in Cuba late in the night, with my backpack, during a blackout. I was walking on the pavement, and could see inside the colonial houses alongside the street as they were lit from a few candles. I felt like I was back in the ninetieth century.

Which place would you highly recommend ?

Sitting at La Divina Pastora restaurant at the end of the day, while sipping a mojito, and enjoying a breathtaking view on the city of Havana.

Where would you settle down ?

I haven’t thought about it yet.

What’s your dream trip ?

Walking across Humboldt national park (heritage of humanity and classified world biosphere reserve), in the east of Cuba, and also sailing around Cuba.

Are you rather into highly organized travel or improvisation ?

With my little 4-year old daughter, I am rather into an organized trip, planning the departure and final parts of it. When travelling alone, I just go with the flow.

Your all-time top three destinations ?

Havana, Vinales, Baracoa.

Where to go, when and why ?

Travelling to Cuba is great at anytime of the year, you’ll experience a complete change of scenery. You’ll find everything there : a beautiful nature still unexplored in some parts, 9 UNESCO world heritage sites, sun and sea, culture, music and of course the cheerful Cubans !
